For current clients, below is a brief overview of our Cancelation Policy, location of therapy sessions, and a description of how parents/caregivers will be notified in emergency situations. There is also a brief description of how to obtain home strategies to help your child during activities of daily living between therapy sessions.

Cancelation Policy Overview
If you need to cancel a scheduled appointment, do so as soon as possible by texting your clinician directly. Make-up sessions may be scheduled based on the clinician’s availability and at the clinician's discretion. See the "Cancelation Policy" you signed in SimplePractice for additional details.

Home Strategies
You can find a plethora of information on the internet on how to help your child. HOWEVER, we highly recommend talking to your clinician about strategies and techniques to specifically meet your child's needs. Your clinician will be able to make targeted recommendations to help your child grow and thrive.

Emergency Notification
Unforeseen events may interrupt your child's services (e.g. natural disasters, quarantine, extreme weather, clinician illness and/or emergencies, etc.). When this occurs, you may receive a text from your clinician and/or a notification through your client portal via SimplePractice.

Location of Therapy Sessions
Therapy is primarily provided in the home or in daycare facilities. When services are provided in the home, a clean, clutter-free area must be provided for ALL sessions. Parents/caregivers work with their clinician to set a therapy location. Subsequent location changes must be coordinated with the clinician and are at the clinician's discretion.
